KEEPING IT SPICY ~

After being married for 10 years, spice is sometimes not only hard to come by, we forget we even need it:)

In my opinion, spicy relationships depend on the couple. Some need the whole red pepper and some just need a fleck of pepper. For me, when my hubby says certain things in passing or via text, it sets me off and ignites that flame once again. I can honestly say that he is the one who realizes when we need to relight that fire. I get so caught up in daily life with the kids, work, house…you get my drift.

I can recall one thing in particular he said to me and I completely fell in love all over again. I had gone out of town for a couple of days and he called me on the second day and said, “I miss your footprints on the bath mat.” I mean, it was so simple, yet those words have stuck with me for years. It’s the little sparks like this that keep the spice in our marriage.

Watching him playing the father role really does it for me as well. I mean, come on, is there anything sexier than a man playing with dolls with his toddlers or blowing bubbles so his little girls can catch them?

Maybe I’m too simple, but the spice in my life comes from many subtle things, but the combination is explosive:)

So, how do you keep the spice in your love life? Leave your answer and be entered to win an autographed book from Jules Bennett!
